Ali had her surgery today at 10am and it took about an hour for the procedure.
Ali did great and so did all 3 little girls.
The Dr was able to put in 2 stitches in Ali's cervix to help hold the little ones inside for as long as possible. We thankfully are being watched extra closely (thanks to Grandma Klein and her nurse connections) so they were able to put the stitches in as a preventative procedure instead of a "rescue" procedure. Now we just need to pray that the baby's don't cause any trouble and try to get out until we go and get them in December.
Ali is spending at least tonight at the hospital for monitoring and we will find out tomorrow what the plan is for tomorrow. The concern is that since they have been messing with her she may start to contract so they want to monitor her closely. She had no signs of pre-term labor today so we were very thankful.
They checked in on all 3 girls before and after the surgery and they were all having a great time waving and kicking. All of the grandparents were in the room and were able to see their first live shots of the grandchildren.
Thank you all for your prayers and please continue to pray for all my girls for health, strength, growth and what ever else you can come up with.
Ali will be home on bed rest until the babies come so if you are in the neighborhood feel free to stop by and chat with her for a while or give her a call on the phone to break up the day. We are converting one of the bedrooms up stairs in to her new living room/kitchen since she can't go down the stairs at all so any new faces besides mine and the dog I am sure will be very exciting and welcomed by her.
Thanks again!
