4th!

Happy 4th of July from our family!
This weekend we went to the Sugar Lake carnival. Brynn and Maryn went on lots of rides.
I don't like rides. I'd rather have my poppa hold me.
Daddy did take me on one ride.
I wasn't very happy about it though. He better not take me on it EVER again!
One thing I did LOVE about the Sugar Lake carnival was the Mini Donuts!
YUM!
I wonder if my mom knows how to make those?!
Actually, all of the food we had this weekend was good. Maryn especially liked her corn on the cob.
This year is the first year mom and dad let us stay up to watch the fireworks. Mom said if we didn't wear pants, the bugs might get us. Look what she made Brynn wear. What if our friends saw her like this??
(I am glad she remembered the matching pants for my pajamas...whew!)
We put on our life jackets and off we went to the fireworks on the lake.
We had to wait kind of a long time for them to start.
These are the times that I love having sisters the most!
Instead of being bored waiting, we played Ring Around the Rosie together.
We can always think of fun stuff to do!
Finally, the fireworks started. They made me want to sing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star!"
Did you know that the 4th of July is America's birthday?
Grammy helped us make cupcakes for America.
We even got to blow out the candles!
Happy Birthday America!
Love,
Leah
Maryn
And Brynn
