Feliz Navidad

Merry Christmas...or Feliz Navidad as we like to say! (that's Spanish...and our very favorite song at the moment! :)
We had a fun Christmas! Except for Leah wasn't feeling super great (she was getting over strep again!)...but she still had fun!
Christmas eve morning we went to our Grammy and Poppa's house for a Santa Lucia festival.
We got all dressed up and even sang a song in Swedish for our mom and dad.
After our performance, we got to open some special presents!
Then we went to our auntie Susie's. Auntie Susie let us drink our "Sprite pop" out of fancy glasses.
Don't we look grown up!?
Guess who made an appearance? SANTA!
Maryn wasn't so sure she wanted to sit on his lap!
Brynn and Leah were SURE they DIDN'T. They stayed FAR away!
Santa brought us presents to auntie Susie's and when we went home to sleep, he brought even MORE presents to our house!!
Here is Leah's favorite gift from Santa. A dress up rack with tons of new skirts, dresses, shoes and crowns.
Here she is modeling a few of the outfits.
We got a BIG doll house!
And a trampoline!
We must have been really good girls this year!

On Christmas day, we went over to Mimi and Papa's.
Look at this old church. It was my great grandma Glady's.
She was a very special lady to my mommy.
We think her church is very special!
(it even lights up and sings!)
At mimi and papa's, we had a birthday party for Jesus.
We all got to eat some cake to celebrate His birthday.
What a great holiday! Thank you Jesus for being born for us!
We sure had fun celebrating your day!
 Love,
MBL

Preschool Christmas Concert

Merry Christmas!
Last night was our very first performance: our preschool Christmas concert!
We were SO excited!
We sang songs, and did finger plays.
Mom and dad were so proud of us.
Here are some pictures.
Merry Christmas!

What We've Been Up To

Hi! It's Brynn.
Today was fun! Our mom says she is pretty much an "inside" girl, but it was so nice today, we all went SLEDDING!!

We love to sled...but even  more...we love to eat snow.
Boy, does God make some good stuff!
(It's safer to eat it in Alex and Ariel's yard...they don't have a dog)

In other big news...we got fabulous beds for our birthday. No more cribs/toddler beds.
Check 'em out!
Eventually they will turn into bunk beds with a trundle, but mom says we are too little to sleep on bunks right now.

Usually, 2 of us sleep in our new beds, and one sleeps in our other bedroom. (We switch it up so that no one gets lonely. At night we talk and decide who will sleep where. We turn our night time music up loud enough that no matter which room you are in, you can hear!)
If we want to though, we can all sleep in the same room. We're so lucky we can choose!

We also went out and got a Christmas tree. I was kind of concerned about bringing a tree IN to the house. I kept telling mom that trees should stay OUTSIDE.
She seemed to think it was okay to bring it in though.
I have to admit, it does look super pretty!

Oh, and if you see Santa, can you tell him that we want: a trampoline, a kitty (mom's definitely not sold on this one), and a doll with long hair.
(We went to our very first movie in a theater and saw Tangled...we thought it might be cool to have a doll that looked like princess Rapunzel.)
Thanks!
Love,
Brynn
