A Thursday Morning

Today we went to the community center for the free 'Tot Time'. The most fun morning a toddler could ask for! You get this whole big gym to yourself, and you can pick any toys out of the closet that you want to play with. Really anything! They had way cool toys! My mom took this circle and made it go round and round her tummy. It was hilarious!

We liked to march up and down these mats. March, march, march....mom sang "The girls go marching one by one. Hoorah!" We love that song!

They had a tunnel that was WAY bigger than the one we have at home. Helloooooooo mom!

Maryn thought we should play dodgeball. Look out!

We ran round and round, and back and forth all morning. You'd think mom was trying to tire us out, or something?!

The Object of Our Affection

I know what you're thinking. What?!?!
3 girls have been fighting for 4 days over plastic drum sticks?!
Oh yeah! We've had some good ones. All out 20-month-old chick fights. Biting, scratching, hitting....imagine what it will be like when the fights are over boys and clothes! Ahhhhh!!!!!!!!
In the morning, when the girls wake up, the race is on to find the sticks. We've tried to hide them, but somehow they are found. We've tried to encourage sharing,but you know, it does you no good to have ONE of the drumsticks. You must have TWO...and you will fight your sisters at all costs to get two, cause, it is sooooo worth it.
I think these coveted drumsticks are on their way to the garbage can.
When these girls are teens...God bless us all!

Pow...Pow...Powerwheels

Notice that we are riding in our backyard, rather than on the street. (If you know our mom, you're not surprised! ;)




Maryn was at the cabin with Grammy and Poppa while we were testing out our new wheels.
She got to have a special day alone.
On Friday, our family took a field trip to the zoo with Grammie and Poppa. Mommy learned an important lesson that day. We went into the goat cage to get a close look. Mommy brought goat treats in, thinking it would be great for us to get a close look at our furry friends. WRONG! Turns out goats attack for treats. Lesson learned: Feed goats from the OUTSIDE of their cage. hee, hee

Relaxin' at Sugar Lake

Hi there! Hope you are enjoying your summer as much as we are.
We are at Sugar Lake livin' the easy life.
No pants required:


We've learned lots about Sugar Lake. We overheard mom saying that daddy and his cousins used to have big parties there...and something about kids dancing on tables. Sounded kinda fun! Boogie Woogie!


Daddy said that if he caught us dancing on the table with our friends, we'd be in the dog house. Just so that we know what we're in for, Brynn decided to try it out. Not too bad. Kinda fun, actually!

We're spending lots of time playing in the sand...building castles with moats, raking up lake weed, and just having a ball!








We got to spend a lot of time relaxing too. For the beginning of our week we had strep throat AND probably a virus too. We had temperatures that were between 103 and 104 degrees. Not fun! At least we were in a good place to take it easy with the people we love.



We got to spend lots of time with our Auntie. Did you know that Auntie Lauren is mommy's sister? Sisters RULE!

So do cousins!

We can't wait until we get older and can go tubing like mommy. Daddy pulled us around the yard in a tube, but he said we're not big enough to go in the water yet. Soon!

We did get to do lots of boating, though!




A great time is being had by all!
