Go Team Jonswold!!!

Wow, what a day! Today, we marched for babies! We went out in the rain and raised over $2,100 for preemies! That is WAY more than I can count to. (but, I can count to 15 in English and 10 in Spanish! Pretty good, huh?)
When we got to the walk we played at the park while we waited for our friends to join us. We wanted to stay FAR away from the scary people dressed up as barnyard animals. Dad called them "mascots" and said they were nice. I disagree.
Here is a picture of my family. Mom says we are blessed cause we are all together and healthy. There were a lot of blessed families walking with us today! I know there were some families who were missing special babies too. That's why we were walking.
When the countdown to race time started, we loaded up! Here is a picture of us with our buddies Jack and Kaelan.
Ready, Set, GO!!!
All along the trail there were stops with snacks and prizes.
Pretty sure walks don't get better than that!
Here is a picture of us with our Mimi, Papa and Auntie Lauren. Cheese!
After the race we went out for lunch. I was so tired that I slept through lunch in Mimi's arms.
I woke up just in time to have a bite of my favorite Mac and Cheese before heading home.
Here is a picture of our team at Champps!
GO TEAM JONSWOLD!
Thanks to every single one of you who walked with us, donated or thought of us on this special day.
Love, Leah

P.S. On a completely unrelated, but still very important subject.....We said BYE BYE to our baby cribs!!!Big girl beds only for these big girls. No night time escapes, but we HAVE been getting up early enough in the moring to tune in for the first Blue's Clues episode on Nick Jr. (for those of you without kids, that means 6 a.m.) When we were in our cribs, mom didn't let us out until Arthur. (7 a.m.) Mom says we are her little roosters. Cockadoodledoooooooooooo!!!!!!!

The Neighborhood

Hi Everybody!
We just want to take a second, first, to thank you for giving money to help babies be born healthy.
We appreciate all of you so much! We hope that someday all preemies are just as healthy as us!

So, you are probably wondering what we do all day now that it is nice out.
If it were up to me (Brynn) I would swing ALL day.
(and I mean from the minute I crawl out of my crib until the sun goes down)
But, since mom's got stuff to do and she can't push me all day, we do other stuff too.
We love to go to the park, and play in our yard. We also love to scooter.
Leah can ride her trike all by herself. Me and Maryn are still working on it.
We really love to play with all of our neighbors.
Guess what?? Our neighbor Sydney found a frog today.
AND...she even let me hold it!

Maryn and Leah (and mommy!) were scared of the frog. They didn't want to hold it.
But, I thought it was cool!
Here are a few more pictures of us "scootering" and pushing our babies today.
Oh, how we love the sunshine!
Bye Mom!
We're lucky to have lots of friends right in our neighborhood!
Love,
Brynn

Old McDonald's

Today, we went to play with our buddy Kaelan.
Here is a picture of us climbing "Highest Hill" at our church.
Daddy says it is the REAL highest hill from Dora. It IS pretty high!
Here is a picture of Maryn and Kaelan.
Maryn and Kaelan, sitting in a tree...
After our play time, we asked mommy if we could go to "Old McDonald's" for lunch and get a burger and fries.
She laughed and said yes! We love "Old McDonald's."
Enjoy Mr. sun today!
Love,

Happy Easter

Happy Easter everybody!
This morning the bunny brought us baskets with new jammies, bubbles, M&M's, and our very favorite....Dora chew-chew's (aka. fruit snacks)
Mom even let us eat our fruit snacks for BREAKFAST!
Then we went to church and made popsicle crosses to celebrate Jesus
and then we went to our great auntie Kim's.
Here are some pictures of our Easter egg hunt:
After Kim's, we got to see our Grammie and Poppa for dessert and dinner.
It was such a fun day that after dinner we were exhausted and asked to go to sleep.
Oh, one more thing...we got to wear beautiful Easter bonnets today.
People at church kept saying how beautiful we are.
Dad said we looked like we were on our way to the Kentuky Derby.
Happy Easter!
Love,
Maryn, Brynn and Leah

A Whole New World...as BIG girls!

Happy Palm Sunday, everybody!
We got  Palm Brances today. We like to wave them just like the people waved them at Jesus. Every once in a while, I had to remind my sisters to "Stop Palming Me!" It kinda tickles! I don't know how Jesus made it down the street without laughing!
So, we are almost 2 and a half, and we aren't babies anymore.
(Well, Maryn sometimes still uses her nonnie, but she's not a baby.)
Today, we got to do a very 2 year old thing.
We went to the zoo STROLLER FREE! That's right...we got to walk like big girls and it was awesome! We saw so many more things than we can see from our stroller. The zoo was a whole new world!
We packed up our "pack-packs" and off we were to see the animals.

We traveled through the caves at the zoo, just like Dora the Explorer.
Brynn was on the search for "Baby Jaguar" but he must have been hiding, cause we never found him.
We did get to go on a train though.
All aboard! We choo-chooed the whole time.
After the zoo, we went to see another animal. A BIG one. The Easter Bunny.
Mommy says next Sunday he'll bring us candy to celebrate Easter.
I don't know. I kinda just want him to stay at his own house.
Easter Bunny, if you are reading this, can you just send some candy in the mail???
When we got home, we crawled into our big girl beds for a great Sunday snooze.

I like this whole "being a big girl" thing.
Next on the list....potty training!
Happy Easter Week!
Love,
Leah Marie
