Preschool Christmas Concert

Happy holidays!!
Right before Christmas we had our big preschool performance.
We sang our hearts out!
Mom made Maryn wear a dumb bow that I (Brynn) told her I absolutely WAS NOT wearing.
Good thing too! The mega-bow kept falling off Maryn's head right in the middle of our songs.
Poor Maryn. Where do you get a bow that big anyway?

Who's who????
Can you tell?

Mega bow flops again...

We had a great time at our concert. Thanks to all of our dear family who came to watch us perform!
Love,
Brynn

What we've been up to...

Hi, It's Leah!
Boy, have we ever been busy.
Trying to stay on the "nice list" isn't easy, you know.
We're so excited for Santa to come and leave us presents.
(Between you and me, I am not so excited about him coming into my house though. I told my mom to tell him he can leave the presents on the front step and we will get them in the morning!)
I asked for Bride Barbie this year.
Maryn asked for Rockin' Mickey Mouse and Brynn asked for a camera.
We didn't want to go sit on his lap, so we sent him notes in the mail.
He actually called us on the phone AND sent video messages to let us know he got our letters.
Pretty cool, huh?

I am still as into dress-up as ever.
I love to be a bride the most. But, a ballerina is fun too!

I also like to do my own hair, and put on lip gloss.
One morning, I wanted to make my hair EXTRA beautiful!
My mom puts some stuff (Vaseline/Aquaphor) on our cheeks to keep them soft in the winter.
Well, I thought....why not put it on my hair??
Soft hair is beautiful, right?
Just to be sure it was enough, I put gobs and gobs of it on my head and rubbed it in.
(I did Brynn's hair too)
My mom wasn't so happy...but I was so proud I walked into preschool and told my teacher I did my hair all by myself that day.
(This picture is after the THIRD time my mom tried to wash the Vaseline out....)
I know my mom wasn't thrilled, but I don't care! I think it is beautiful!

Brynn and I really like to dress ourselves these days.
One day, we got dressed at separate times (and without mom planning our outfits) and look what we both came out in.
I guess we both have a good sense of style.

Merry Christmas to all!
Can't wait to let you know what Santa brings us!
Love,
Leah

Party!!!

Weeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On Saturday, we had our 4th birthday party. (We aren't REALLY 4 yet...but we celebrated with our friends that we are turning 4.)
Is there a day better than your birthday?!?

Ms. Katie taught us how to jump rope! Go Ms. Katie!

Natalie goes in for the dunk!

For the past 2 weeks, the first thing we do in the morning is run to the window to check for snow.
Guess what??
The first snow this year was on our birthday party day!!!
Here we are celebrating the flakes!
Yay winter!

Again, checking out the snow!
Maryn was expecially excited!

Happy birthday to US!!

When we got home, we ran outside to play!
We LOVE the snow!
We think God ordered it to celebrate our day! :)

Halloween

Halloween this year was AWESOME!
We've been trick or treating before...but this year...we could hardly believe what a fabulous time we had! After the first house, Brynn looked back at mom and dad and yelled, "Hey!! Can we do that again?" We were just giddy as we ran from house to house with our friends! What a fun night!

Look at our haul!

Hope you had a great Halloween too!!

It's A Girl! (again)

Our Golden (Retriever) Addition!
Welcome to the Jonswold family, Sailor!
(Daddy picked her name as a Jimmy Buffett tribute ~ We like it cause we're totally into Jake and his pirate crew. Perfect!!)
We went to go visit her today. She is too little to come and live at our house still.
She is coming home next Saturday.
She's so cute and cuddly.
We brought her a stuffed animal in case she misses us before she comes to live at home. She loved it!!
We are so excited!!
We love you, Sailor!
