Updates...

Hi! Maryn here. Today we are all going to take a turn to tell you how we are.
Me, I'm good. I talk A LOT. I have a lot to say. Usually it takes me a little longer than my sisters to finish my meals cause I like to chat with mom and dad at breakfast, lunch and dinner time. My favorite words are dada and baba. I said mama and papa a couple of times too. I can sit all by myself and can scoot on my tummy and roll to get anywhere I need to. My sisters both have teeth. I keep waiting to get mine. I have lots of personality. I know what I want and scream (LOUD) until I get it. Sometimes I still get "time outs", but that's okay. I just sit in my pack 'n play and talk (usually to myself) until I fall asleep.

My turn, my turn...it's Leah! I can sit and scoot all by myself too. I have 2 bottom teeth. My favorite foods are carrots, pears and bananas. (I HATE peas and beans-YUCK!) Me and my sisters eat 3 times a day just like big girls now. We have breakfast, lunch and dinner and a bottle before bed. We went to the zoo again last week with some of our other triplet friends. A little boy saw us strolling along with the Hanlin triplets, and he yelled for his mommy to come and see the "sixlets"! hee, hee We're not sixlets, we're TRIPLETS! He was a silly boy!

Hi, my turn! It's Brynn. Guess what!? Today we went to the park, and mommy caught me and Leah eating grass. (Maryn decided to try a brown leaf instead of the green grass) We think it is yummy. Mommy says "no no"! Mommy and daddy would try and put us in the middle of our blanket and we would just crawl back into the grass. It was so fun! We're lucky we can crawl now. We can get anywhere and we put everything into our mouths. I have 3 teeth. Two on the bottom and one on the top.

Well, we're off to bed! It's been a long weekend.
Love,
Maryn, Brynn and Leah

Mommy's note: Well, it was exactly one year ago today I had my cerclage and was placed on bedrest. I remember being so terrified. What a journey we had. So many trips to the hospital, so many different medications, and 15 long weeks laying in bed. I praise God every single day for choosing me to be a mommy to these little girls. They are our greatest blessing! Thank you God for every single busy day!!!

Brynn is officially mobile

GUESS WHAT?!?
I crawled today! It was so neat. Here's how it happened:

I saw this new turtle dad got for us. He was so fun looking! He had flashy lights and sang songs! I really wanted to play with him! There was only one small problem...he was WAY on the other side of the floor. Here is a picture of him:

I decided I was going to figure out a way to get over there. So, I gathered up my strength and used my hands and my legs to crawl.

Before I knew it, the turtle was mine!

I love being a big girl!

xoxo, Brynn

A Day at the Zoo!

Hi! It's Maryn.
We went to the zoo yesterday. It was neat! We saw lots of animals...like camels and monkeys, even "Ma's" cousin the goat!
We went to a farm exhibit and saw tractors. (Daddy liked that and so did we!)
We got John Deere hats from a farmer.
It was a fun day. We can't wait to go back!

Guess what else happened? I got my first time out. Yep, that's right....Time Out!
I was not tired in the middle of the night so I decided to yell for mommy-LOUD!
Last time, when I did that, I got to snuggle with her. I thought I would get to this time too, but this time, guess what she did?!
Put me in a pack and play in another bedroom and made me sleep BY MYSELF! ALL BY MYSELF! Ugh! I'm going to think long and hard before I do that again!
Love,
Maryn

Great Grandpa Burt's 75th Birthday Bash!!!

Great Uncle Steve has a farm....and we went! We celebrated our Great Grandpa's 75 birthday!
Here is a picture of me (Brynn) and my Great Grandpa. He's funny! He makes me laugh!

And on his farm he had some goats....
This is a picture of me and "Ma". (That's the goats name. Her name is "Ma" cause that is the noise she makes----Maaaaaaa! :)

There is another goat named Cinnamon too. She's not as loud as Ma.

And on his farm he had some swings....
We have a little swing inside our house, but these swings were BIG! Auntie Lauren took Maryn on the swings and she laughed and laughed. She laughed so hard she made everbody else laugh too. I think they could hear her from a mile away! She's funny!

Leah liked the swings too!

and she loves her uncle Nick!

It was a great day at the farm! We got to see goats, and a horse...
It was neat. We got to see our whole family!
Happy Birthday Great Grandpa!
Love,
Brynn (and Maryn and Leah)

Vacation

Hi!
Maryn here!
We just got back from our first vacation.
We went to a place called Brainerd.
Mostly, it was fun. But some things were not so fun...like swimming in the lake.

and having to sleep in pack 'n plays.

We did get to go out for pizza though!

and play with our good friend Danielle and our Auntie Lauren!

We learned some new things too, like how to suck our toes. See!

And, yesterday, I said the word "da-da." I could tell mom and dad were excited when I said it.
I don't really know what it means yet, but I am going to keep saying it cause it gets me attention. (especially from dad) I say it all the time now. I'm so smart!

Mimi took lots of pictures of us, so we got to practice modeling.
Strike a pose!

Most of the time though, we just laughed...and laughed...and laughed.
There's nothing better than having sisters to laugh with.
(I think my sisters are so silly!!! Don't you???)

Love,
Maryn
