Let's Carve Pumpkins!

Let's carve pumpkins!
 Brynn: This stuff feels cool!
Leah: You want me to stick my hand in WHAT??
NO thank you!
 Maybe I'll use this thing.
I don't want to get too close. It might get my pink skirt dirty.
Yuck! It slimed me! Is this supposed to be fun?
(Notice Maryn is no where near the pumpkins. She wanted nothing to do with the whole ordeal..until the transformation to Jack-o-lanterns!)
Maryn: Mommy, I want triangle eyes, a square nose, and a happy face.
Brynn: Mommy, make mine with a really sad face, and big circle eyes.
Leah: I want mine to be MAD!
 Happy, Mad and Sad!
We're ready for Halloween!

Apple Orchard

 Hi everybody!
I hope you had a great weekend!
Today, we went to the apple orchard and the pumpkin patch.
We had a blast!

Well, except for Leah when she heard that we were going to go on a hay ride. She wasn't so sure about that!

After we got going, she decided it was fun!
When the hayride was over, we went inside to see how the apples get to the grocery store. They go through a big machine that dumps out the bad apples and packages the good ones.
We got to taste some of the good ones!

Here's Leah with her good apple!
 YUM!

After picking apples, we picked pumpkins.
It was hard to choose just the right one!

I think mom and dad had a good time too!
They're so silly!

Happy Fall!

What do you want for your birthday???

The girls ask every day if it is their birthday yet.
"Not yet, but soon!" I tell them.
Yesterday, the girls told a lady at the mall that it is almost their birthday, and soon they are going to have a party.
"What do you want for your birthday?" the lady nice lady  asked.
Here are their answers:

Brynn answered: Nothing, just some cake
Maryn answered: Stickers
Leah answered: A car or a rocket ship

Can you pick the high maintenance triplet?

Our week in pictures

Strep round 3 in 2 months.
Last week, all 3 girls got strep throat AGAIN!
(and I feel like we just got rid of it! Oh, yeah...we did!)
Maryn was running 104.5 temp and we had to go in to have some blood drawn to check her white cell count.
The doctor couldn't help but laugh when she told me what a strong willed child I have. Maryn wanted NOTHING to do with having her blood drawn...and she let EVERYBODY know.
It took 2 adults to hold her down.
You go, Maryn! Your strong will will serve you well in life!

Leah missed her STAR of the WEEK day at school because we were at home sick.
Here were some of her questionaire answers.
(she answered these questions totally on her own)
LEAH MARIE JONSWOLD
Favorite Food: Chicken
Favorite Color: Pink
Favorite Thing to Do: Wear Sparkle Shoes, Play Soccer and Play Polly Pocket and Mermaids
Show and Tell Item: Pink Blankie

A few other note worthy things about Leah: You have to "hog tie" her to get her to wear pants. She ALWAYS wants to wear a dress or a skirt.
She LOVES putting on mommy's make-up.
Leah often tells me her name is Leah Misslisabeth (yes, Misslisabeth, not Elizabeth)...guess I picked the wrong middle name for her :)

Love you my star of the week!

This week, Brynn stepped on a bee hive and was stung 8+ times.
Praise God that she is not allergic!!
A little ice and some hydrocortizone cream and she is okay!
She's one tough cookie!

Hopefully, life returns to normal this week!
