Big Girl Bed

Hi! It's Maryn.Wow! What a day out today! So beautiful!

You're probably wondering why I am naked...

We were outside running so hard today that my mom said I was kinda stinky. Here I am on my way to take my bath. I wanted to wear my new rain boots for my picture. Pretty cute, huh!

We are powering up our Power Wheels so that we can cruise the neighborhood.

(and we're getting our trikes ready for our first big ride. Oh how fun that will be!)

Well, there has been one big development at our house.

We got a big girl bed!! We still sleep in our cribs at night, but for our naps, we sleep in big girl beds.

Here's a picture of me and my sister Brynnie talking about being big girls.

Brynnie doesn't really like to sleep in the big girl beds. I tell her not to worry, cause it isn't scary and it is a lot more comforable than a pack 'n play.

I think soon she'll be brave enough to give it a try.

March Snow Bunnies

Hi, we're back! Boy, it has been a while! We've been so totally bored stuck inside the house this winter, but today we got to go outside "snowing."

Guess what happened to Maryn?! She got her finger slammed in a door and her finger nail is hanging on by a little thread. It is pretty gross. (Don't worry, we won't show a picture :)

We're really excited about spring! We miss playing outside!

Hi! It's Maryn.
We haven't told you what we are up to in a while, so we wanted to check in.
Hmmm...Let's see...What's new??
Remember when mom told you that I can't tell Brynnie and Leah apart? I can now.
We've been playing together a lot lately. We're best buddies. We play dolls and kitchen...we even play baseball and catch.
You know what we haven't been doing together though....getting time outs.
Ususally, I get those on my own.
The other day, mom caught me doing something bad.
I kicked Reese (our dog).
Reese was bugging me, and I didn't think anyone would notice, so I kicked her.
Guess who noticed.....mom.
Real fast, I tried to think of a reason for what I did. I told mom, "Reese bite me."
She was watching longer than I thought she was. She knew I was telling a lie.
So, off to time out it was.
I sat there for 11 minutes until I finally told Reese I'm sorry.
I like to do things MY OWN WAY on MY OWN TIME.
Mom likes to do things HER way. When our ways don't agree....off to time out I go.
But, I don't go easy.

We've been going to school a lot. We really like school, and we like our friends.
We drink out of big girl cups now, which means fewer dishes to clean for mom and dad! They like that!
We've grown up so much even in just the past couple of weeks, mom and dad can hardly believe it!
