Beach Babes

Happy Summer! We just got back from a weekend in the sun with Grammie and Poppa at the lake.
What a blast!
We got to do some boating, but we had to wear these awful life jackets.

We're still not so sure about boating.

Or swimming for that matter...

But we LOVED playing outside and in the sand:

Hope you had a good weekend too!
Happy Memorial Day!

Summer Time!

Hi! Maryn Elizabeth here. It's summer time, which means mostly good things.
Good thing #1-SWIMMING in our pool! Check it out!:

Good thing #2: Playing tag in our backyard. We're Freeeeeeee!

Good thing #3: Since we wear shorts, you can really see our high heels. (or high heel. We love to wear pretty shoes, but we can't walk if we wear two...so we think wearing one is pretty.)

Good thing #4: Playin' in our house all day. Come on in Mimi!

Welcome!

Good thing #5: Snacks outside! We eat snack outside these days. And you know what is even better than snack? (yes, there is something better than snack!) The ICE CREAM TRUCK! The ice cream man comes every Tuesday night. Me and Leah like to get Popsicles. Yum!

Okay, well, summer time does have some bad stuff that comes along with it too. Like bad thing #1:Dumb hats that mom makes us wear. I try and tell her that my friends will laugh at me if I have to wear this hat. She doesn't seem to care.

Bad thing #2: Sandy butt. Thankfully, Leah came up with a solution to that.

All in all, we think summer time is pretty cool.
We're looking forward to lots of warm days to come.
Happy Memorial Day weekend!
Love,
Maryn

Our New House

You know how it feels when you REALLY want something...bad? Well, we REALLY wanted a playhouse. I mean, really really wanted one and our Papa Mark knew it.
Then, today, we went down for our nap and when we woke up...our very own house had arrived!!! Papa Mark bought us a house!
It's beautiful! It is yellow and it has a pretty pink door, and green shutters. We didn't build, it came from some other kids...but we think it's perfect! (Now, we'll all just have to agree on decorating! That might be tough for 3 girls to do!)
Tomorrow, we're playing in it all day! We'll be sure to post some pictures. Our backyard is turing into toddler dreamland! We're such lucky girls! Thank you, Papa! We love you! (and we love our new house too!)
xoxo,

Mother's Day with the Monkeys!

Happy Mother's Day! Here we are at the zoo! What a day!
We went on the rides, and saw the monkeys (which is a new word we know how to say, by the way!) We ate cotton candy, went on a train, drove some cars, and rode on ponies.
(Leah was so tired, she fell asleep on her pony. See the picture!)
Tonight will be just a quick post, cause we are exhausted, but we wanted to say happy Mother's Day to all of the mommies out there.
Love,
Maryn, Brynn and Leah

Cinderella...Princess Party

Morris family...you rock! Thanks for the princess crowns and shoes. They are beautiful. We wear them around the house and feel so special. We even had a "princesses only" lunch today, we all wore our crowns.
Here are some pictures of us:

Mom told us the story of this one princess named Cinderella. Today, we decided we wanted to play Cinderella, so we broke out of our play room (AGAIN...it totally isn't hard now that we're bigger...you'd think mom and dad would catch on and tighten the gate...hee,hee)
Mom was cleaning this morning, and left a couple of brooms and stuff out...perfect for playing Cinderella. We made our escape and ran around with those mops and brooms...but unfortunately, no matter how hard we cleaned, there was no pumpkin around to turn into a coach and take us to the ball. Next time, we'll clean in the fall....better chance of a pumpkin. :)
Love,
MLB

Whistle While You Work

Today was the big day! Swing set day! We knew it was going to be a lot of work, but luckily Maryn found some directions in daddy's tool box.

Oh sure, daddy and papa did most of the work, but we did help with some stuff...like shoveling. It was a lot of work. Brynn was so thirsty she tried to sneak a sip of daddy's juice, but there was none left. Shoot!

Maryn, as we all know, is not a big fan of getting dirty. Maryn+Sandbox=tears.

Thankfully Maryn does love to swing! Weeeeeeeeee!!!!!

Brynn has to try to remember not to go UP the slide!(I think that might be a constant battle!)

What a good day! By the end, we were exhausted! A swing is a great place to relax! Thank you daddy and papa for your hard work! We already can't wait to play tomorrow! Love, Maryn, Brynn and Leah
